At the very centre of the United Kingdom, where centuries-old castles are placed next to urban centres and unending green landscapes, a fairy-tale was about to start. It was dubbed as Tomorrowland UK a special edition of the globally renowned music festival which was developed to bring people together by use of music, culture and imagination.

The site undertaken by Tomorrowland UK was a large open field that was close to the Scottish Highlands. The location was surreal, the sight of misty mountains, pond-like lakes, and clean air was like a dream. On the first day, when the sun started shining, thousands of individuals came into the country with excitement in their eyes. They did not only bear flags but also dressed in colorful clothes and had a unifying factor joy.

Festival gates were in the form of a massive magical book. In glowing letters on the cover are written:

As the gates opened there was a slow influx of music in the air and the crowd cheered greatly. To most of them, this was not simply a festival it was a dream realized.

The stages within Tomorrowland UK were based on the British history and myths. One of the stages was resembling a royal castle featuring golden towers and moving walls. A different phase was inspired by the Celtic legends, as the trees glow, there are enchanted as well as floating lights. All details demonstrated innovativeness and diligence.

Beats shook the land sounding out as the first DJ started playing. Human beings danced without thinking of their stress, worries and differences. Friends were formed with strangers and family with friends. The audience was like a wave, which was brought together by rhythm and sound.

Emma is a young London girl who had long been looking forward to going to Tomorrowland. As a man, she dared to stand among the crowd with tears of joy in her eyes: Music was always her way out, and now she was alive. Lucas, whom she had traveled with her as far as Brazil, was beside her. They had no words to say but music united them despite their different languages. They laughed, danced and told stories and all this under the colorful lights.

Tomorrowland UK changed into a shining wonderland at night. Lasers were used to paint the sky, fireworks were used to give a perfect rhythm to the music, and the moon was shinning over the party like it was observing the party. The central stage was enlivened with dancing dragons, fire displays, and huge LED screens with the messages of peace and unity.

There was also a special moment when one of the renowned DJs paused the music and addressed the audience.
It is not about DJs or stages in this festival, he said. It is about you. In the world of love, respect, and uniting.
People applauded and many with hands in their emotions.

It was also about culture in Tomorrowland UK. Food stalls offered food representing the whole world British fish and chips, Indian biryani, Italian pizza, and Asian street food. There were such performances as live paintings, dancers, workshops where people were taught about the production and creativity of music.

The second day was a rainy one, but this did not halt the festival. It instead made the experience more magical. The rain fell upon people dancing and smiling and screaming with joy. The music was more powerful, serious and significant. It did not matter that mud was on shoes and wet clothes were being made memories were being made.

On the last day, the moods were ambivalent. The festival was something everyone wished was permanent. I will remember the closing ceremony. The gentle music was gently playing, and the lights were gradually ascending up in the sky in form of stars. The last fireworks illuminated the night reflecting on the faces of thousands of smiling people.

Emma checked around and understood something. Tomorrowland UK was not an event or a place. It was an emotion of a reminder that the world could be a beautiful place in the event that people unite with love and music.

By the time the festival came to an end, people got hugging, shared contacts, and vowed never to see each other. Tomorrowland UK might have finished as far as the year was concerned, but its memory lingered in all hearts. No one had old sore feet, contented hearts, or memories that would be a lifetime.

And somewhere on the peaceful countryside in the UK the land slept once again awaiting the next Tomorrowland where dreams would awaken anew.
